HIPAA Compliance
From large hospitals to sole medical practitioners, all healthcare entities must pay special attention to HIPAA compliance.
According to HIPAA compliance rules, all entities possessing or accessing patient information or other PII should have regular Risk Assessments and have a Risk Management plan in place. Entities covered under the Meaningful Use program must also have annual Security Risk Assessments to be submitted to the US Government.
